“After making appropriate enquiries and considering the academy trust's funding agreement with the Secretary of State for Education is only terminable on seven years' notice, or other exceptional events, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
