• “Management accounts have not been produced and shared with the chair of governors on a monthly basis, as required by the Academy Trust Handbook. No management accounts have been presented to the board for months.”
• “The restricted general fund is in deficit by £144,233 at the year end, meaning that at that date the Trust did not have sufficient current assets to settle its current liabilities.”
• “During the course of our audit, we identified multiple instances where the Academy Trust financial controls had not been adhered to, opening the Trust up to potential breaches of the Academy Trust Handbook, misuse of funds and fraud.”
