Material uncertainty over going concern
The academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. However, the Clifton Diocese has set out a timeline for single academy catholic schools to join a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) in the coming years. The timeline proposes that St Joseph's Catholic College is expected to join a MAT by the end of the 2025/26 academic year. Although, as of the date of this report, the academy trust has not entered into formal discussion with the Regional Schools Commissioner, there is the possibility that the academy may transfer to the MAT within the next 12months, therefore a material uncertainty exists on the Academy Trust's ability to continue as a going concern.

Significant events
- “In mid-2020, the trust was approached by the Local Authority seeking support in establishing units for local SEN children as core local provisions were oversubscribed. The college identified a room where this could be established as a pilot scheme and Swindon Borough Council covered the costs of setup. The setup was very successful, and trustees agreed to establish a full SEN unit, in collaboration with Swindon Borough Council, with an annual intake of up to 12 students, on a phased introduction. There are now groups of up to 12 students in the SEN Unit in years 7-11, and the change of designation from the DfE has been completed.”
- “During the year, the college was awarded condition improvement funding of £158,000 for fire safety compliance. The work commenced in summer 2025 with completion expected in autumn 2025_26.”
- “The college also received a government grant of £25,000 towards installation of EV charging stations and 10 charging stations were installed in the year at a cost of £32,500.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
