- “The budget for 2024-2025 based on the above showed an in year surplus of £237,085, However, the reasonable assumptions made did not come to fruition: 1. Teachers of pensionable age not retiring 2. Energy savings were only £36k in year, mainly due to healting being switched off after 1pm each day. 3. A new server was required as the one in use had come to the end of its lifespan and the school system could not run without it and the computers were not Windows 11 compliant and therefore had to be replaced.”
- “The School had been unsuccessful with its two bids for 2023-2024 for CIF allocations for Roofing and Heating phase 2. In 24/25 we were unsuccessful again with the roofing bid but managed to secure the Fire Compartmentation and Fabric Works The unsuccessful roofing bids are very concerning for us as it compromises the safety of the building. The windows in the Main Hall are unsafe.”
