“The board of trustees has a reasonable expectation that the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future, i.e. 12 months from the signing of these accounts. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. ... That budget forecast predicted large in year deficits for 2025/26 onwards which would deplete reserves down to 2.5% in year three.”
