Material uncertainty over going concern
The Board of Trustees has a reasonable expectation that the Academy Trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. However, following the decision to join a Multi Academy Trust being ratified at the Board Meeting in October 2024 it is anticipated that the Academy will transfer out all activities and cease to operate by 31 August 2025. For this reason, it has prepared the financial statements on a basis other than going concern.
