• “This last period has seen an unprecedented decrease in traditional funding streams as European funding post Brexit has ceased and its replacement, understandably is initially slower to feed through. Add to this a new UK government keen to set its own agenda but with again understandable caution in funding new schemes has meant the fund raising team are working harder on much smaller bids to gain the same level of income. This reality sadly means that Youth Federation had to make some redundancies in the year but the organisation remains resilient and in a good place to take advantage of new opportunities in the future.”
