- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “Bristol Music Trust's year of activity from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 has been focussed on growing the commercial income of the business to ensure financial sustainability in the future. Many of BMTEL's regular clients have returned post reopening including blood donors, retail fairs, university and other career fairs, and regular networking meetings. The business delivered steadily increasing bookings with new clients such as a number of corporate AGMs, a five-year contract to deliver the graduation ceremonies for the University of the West of England twice a year, corporate conferences, weddings and parties. The box office continued to develop third party ticketing services including for the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and Bristol Cathedral. Work is continuing to expand this area of business further.”
- “Food and beverage commission is earned through our third-party delivery partner Graysons and our existing café partner Bristol Loaf. The restaurant has started to develop a 'destination dining' clientele as well as those dining pre-concert. The bars are busy, and the focus is now on driving average spend per head and audience engagement to benchmark levels. Bristol Loaf continue to deliver the cafe/bar in the foyer and are achieving target income.”
- “We continue to benefit from membership of Visit Bristol which promotes Bristol on behalf of local event and cultural business and generates part of the pipeline of enquiries for us. We also get other enquiries from event agencies that we have subscribed to.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
