Significant events
- “A key milestone this year was the opening of the Martin Bacon Satellite LINK at Swavesey Village College. This innovative provision welcomed its first Year 7 cohort, enabling students to thrive in a mainstream setting with tailored support.”
- “Further innovation was seen at Sharnbrook Academy, where a shared appropriate provision was developed collaboratively with Lincroft Academy and The Ferrers School.”
- “Lincroft Academy joined the Trust facing two significant issues. Firstly, the accommodation was woefully insufficient to function effectively as a secondary school. Secondly, approximately one third of the classroom accommodation is within a dilapidated mobile classroom block that is both beyond repair and liable to imminent failure. Phase one, a dining hall and gym was completed in Summer 2024. Phase two will be delivered in conjunction with a Bedford Borough Council funded 1 form of entry expansion and complete the transformation of the Academy. Planning permission was granted in Autumn 2024 and work is planned to complete in Easter 2026.”
- “North Cambridge Academy was rebuilt as part of the Priority Schools Building Programme. A significant extension of the school was delivered in December 2024 and provides much improved accommodation and enables leaders to plan effectively for the needs of young people.”
- “When Ely College joined the Trust, pupil numbers had been dropping, and the Interim Executive Board had voted to close the post 16 provision. Trust colleagues were successful in being awarded a grant, to use in conjunction with School Condition Allowance and school funds, to expand the Post 16 provision and restore Needhams building. These superb facilities were successfully delivered for Ely students in April 2025.”
- “Stratton Upper School started the year as Stratton School and finally became an 11-18 school after many years of planning. Northstowe Secondary College, 11-19 (NSC) became Northstowe Learning Community, a 4-19 all-through school (NLC), welcoming Reception youngsters and a first Post 16 cohort in the same year.”
- “Northstowe Learning Community opened its doors to their first cohort of sixth form students in their brand new purpose-built sixth form block.”
- “Sharnbrook Academy's sixth form was judged to be 'Outstanding' by OFSTED in February 2025. All Meridian Trust 16-19 centres are now judged to be Good or Outstanding.”
- “Stratton School and Bishop Laney Sixth Form (Ely College) both moved into fully refurbished sixth form accommodation.”
- “The Ferrers School successfully completed its first Year 13 cohort as a stand-alone provider.”
- “GPUTC saw their first cohort of students studying at T level complete successfully.”
- “On 1 September 2025 Crosshall Infant School and Crosshall Junior School in St Neots joined the Trust.”
- “On 1 November 2025 Nene Valley Primary School, Orton Wistow Primary School, and Woodston Primary School in Peterborough joined the Trust.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
