- “In June 2024 Ofsted, following a "no notice" inspection on 29 April and 1 May 2024, published a report confirming that Sunbury Manor School was judged to be Inadequate and required special measures. The Department for Education issued a Termination Warning Notice... to demonstrate that it had the capacity to deliver rapid and sustainable improvement or whether to transfer the Academy to an alternative academy trust. Merger discussions were subsequently initiated with an initial target date of 1 September 2025 for the transfer... was not met and it is now likely that this will now happen later in the 2025-2026 academic year.”
