• “Last academic year saw the Academy continue to build upon the academic successes of the previous year as well as those regarding attendance. The DFE formally recognised our achievement in excellent attendance at school.”
• “This academic year saw the further embedding of our behaviour curriculum which has ensured that students know and consistently display positive behaviours that we expect across the school, such that they become the norm and part of the Whitburn culture. This has further reduced negative behaviours, maximised learning and enhanced student's personal development. This was formally celebrated in our January OFSTED report with personal development maintaining its outstanding judgement.”
• “In relation to SEN provision, the termly SEN meetings continue to be well attended and interventions are reviewed in a timely manner. OFSTED acknowledged the vast improvements in provision and impact in their January 2025 report.”
