- Going concern
- Affirmed
“The directors have assessed the appropriateness of preparing the financial statements on a going concern basis. While MC 478 Limited reported a net loss of £4.0m for the year, supported by EBITDA of £2.0m, forecasts indicate a reduced loss in 2025 and a return to modest profitability in 2026. The group maintains strong liquidity, with £8.7m cash, at the time of signing these accounts, and significant unused funding facilities, and has renewed its key banking arrangements. Stress testing of adverse scenarios confirms that even under severe conditions, losses would not exceed those of 2024 and can be absorbed by available resources. Accordingly, the directors conclude that the going concern basis remains appropriate, with no material uncertainties identified.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
