“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue. These financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis, which the directors believe to be appropriate for the following reasons. Post year-end trading and cash generation remains positive. The directors have prepared Group forecasts at a Group level through to June 2027 which indicate the Company will continue to be able to meet its liabilities as they fall due.”
Significant events
- “Consumer Magazine Which?, voted Gloucester Services as the UK's best motorway services for 2025 in the well respected and researched report.”
- “Gloucester Services was voted the best EV hub in Europe, and the continued investment in EV charging has seen the Westmorland Group power over 17 million EV miles, saving the equivalent of 20,000 trees.”
- “We now have 160 local producers supplying Gloucester Services. In September, we held our second Producer Summit to share our business direction, understand the market and bring our producers together as a community.”
- “Food writer and campaigner Henry Dimbleby spoke about what has gone wrong with our food systems and what can be done to change it. The events of the day helped define and explain our "Proper Food" approach which led to suppliers to review the amount of unnecessary Ultra Processed Foods (UPF) in their supply chains and reformulate. We started dry-aging our own meat in the Gloucester butchers.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
