“The Group recorded a Group EBITDA of £1,271k in the year to 30th April 2025. The Directors acknowledge the ongoing economic challenges, including inflationary and cost pressures, but believe the Group is well positioned to manage these through its vertically integrated seafood supply chain, which provides a competitive advantage and greater control over costs. In preparing the financial statements, the Directors have reviewed detailed trading forecasts and cash flow projections for a period of at least 12 months from the date of approval of these accounts. These forecasts incorporate reasonable assumptions regarding trading performance and take into account the inherent uncertainties affecting the wider economy. Based on these projections, the Directors have a reasonable expectation that the Group has adequate financial resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. In the event that trading was to fall below expectations, the Directors have identified mitigating actions, including discretionary cost controls, to preserve cash flow and ensure sufficient headroom is maintained. Accordingly, the financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis.”
