• “Our trading outlets continued to feel the effects of a challenging economic climate, with pressure on both costs and students' disposable oncome.”
• “The Ground Café team has been working to grow its engagement with our students by creating an Instagram platform for our students, run by our student staff, which now has over 1,000 followers, providing giveaways and requesting ideas for new products and specials.”
• “Over the last few years we have been increasing our offering of vegan and vegetarian foods within out outlets, and we are committed to continue to do this. Over 60% of the core food menu at Drapers and Griff is now vegetarian with over 50% vegan or vegan optional.”
• “The Union Shop has a specific healthy living station, which provides freshly made protein shakes and smoothies, which is exceptionally popular with our gym users, but has also become popular with other students who are wanting to choose healthier options.”
