“Having reviewed the Academy's budgets for 2023/24 and 2024/25, the governing body has a reasonable expectation that the Academy has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The governors are satisfied that the 2024/25 budget includes a sufficient contingency for unknowns. Furthermore, the Academy is carrying a healthy level of reserves which should ensure that it remains a going concern in the event of a short term operational loss. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing financial statements.”
