Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the group's and parent company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”

'Pilling Trading Limited' (company number: 06174209) was formally demerged and a new holding company 'Imperial Soap Works Limited' was put in its place. Contemporaneously, a second new holding company 'Astley (1919) Co Limited' acquired the entire share capital of 'Pilling Trading Limited'. Later, on 10 April 2025, a name swap was approved to change the company's name from 'Pilling Trading Limited' to 'Imperial Soap Works Limited' and whilst this change was only formalised on 21 May 2025 the name swop has had to be recognised in the 2024 accounts.”
