Since then, the Trustees have continued to work with LocatED to manage the expansion into the adjoining building, to identify an appropriate location for a new school building and to explore an alternative option of a purchase and expansion of our current location, once our current lease expires. LocatED has continued to be an invaluable asset to the school during this time. A final resolution to these issues is expected during this school year. A proposal has been submitted via Located to the Department for Education to secure Galena House as the long-term, permanent site for Westside School. Our understanding is that the decision now sits at ministerial level.”
