- Audit opinion
- Unqualified (clean)
- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “Vallectric continues to operate from offices in Leeds and Greenwich and has recently relocated the business unit in Hull to a modern serviced facility at Cherry Tree Court on Ferensway in the City centre.”
- “Turnover for the year 2024/25 was reduced to £12.7m (previously £24.2m). We faced difficulties in securing a number of anticipated schemes due to the pressure on pricing levels, attributable to increases in labour and material costs, exacerbated by commencement delays due to the impact of Gateway 2 approval under the Building Safety Act.”
- “Securing satisfactory levels of work throughout 2025 remains a challenge, although we have recently been awarded a number of quick start refurbishment projects, which will alleviate the shortfalls in turnover during 2025 and contribute towards the value of secured new work that commences in early 2026.”
- “We continue to operate as a group under employee ownership via an employee ownership trust (EOT) and strive to provide an excellent working environment for our staff, whilst remaining committed to training for personal development, along with providing opportunities for progression within the business.”
- “The previous year's settlement of the outstanding debt from the transfer of shares has had a positive shift on the group's net asset value and this is reflected in these accounts. Employees have also benefited from enhanced profit share in the last year due to the ongoing success of the group and the group's ongoing excellent performance and profitability.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
