“At the year end, the company had net current liabilities of £10,084,848 (2024 - £88,570,359). The company is reliant upon its parent company, Searcher Seismic Pty Limited for funding. The directors have received assurance from the parent company that they will not in the foreseeable future, seek repayment of amounts owed to group undertakings. Further, the parent company has confirmed that they will provide further financial support to the company for at least twelve months from the date of approval of the financial statements of the company. Therefore, at the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company will remain in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus they continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”
