  It is expected that the academy will join St Benedict's Catholic Academy Trust on 01 February 2025 and on that date all of its assets, liabilities and activities will be transferred. From that date, or shortly thereafter, it is likely that the legal entity known as St Paul's Academy will cease to exist and for this reason the Trustees consider the academy trust no longer a going concern. The accounts have therefore been prepared on the basis that the academy trust is not a going concern.
