  At the year end the Group and school had net current liabilities as at 31 August 2024 of £5.3m (2023 - £6m) which included bank loan and overdrafts of £4.04m (2023- £3.2m) and parent deposits and school fees invoiced in advance of £4.3m (2023 - £5.1m). The Group's banking facility was repaid within the year and a new facility of £4.06m comprising a 25 year commercial mortgage was negotiated providing greater stability for the group. Whilst the loan covenants have been breached post year end, the bank has confirmed that it will continue to support the school with an on going loan facility until at least August 2026.
