- Going concern
- Affirmed
“The business has prepared cashflow forecasts to support its assessment of going concern, considering various economic factors. A sensitivity analysis was also performed over the forecasts to assess potential downside scenarios. Despite the Company making a loss for the year and experiencing a total cash outflow, the forecasts demonstrate that, on a standalone basis, the business has sufficient resources to support its ongoing operations. Furthermore, there is a planned re-organisation in place to merge EPD Group with Support Warehouse, with the merger targeted for September. The signed and approved business case document outlines the strategic and operational benefits of this merger in detail. In addition to expected cost savings, the consolidation of cash flows and resources, across both entities will enhance financial resilience and improve the ability to respond to future market challenges. The combined entity is expected to benefit from greater efficiency, reduced overheads, and improved working capital management. Should the need arise, the business is also able to rely on support from its parent company. Based on this review, and taking into account both the standalone and combined financial positions, the directors believe the Group will have adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. As such, it is deemed appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
