- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties... CPI has a grant funding allocation agreement in place with HVMC providing core funds to CPI to 31 March 2028. The core funding level to cover the period to 31 March 2026 has been agreed and confirmation has been received, furthermore CPI has received confirmation from HVMC of the minimum core funding levels for 2026/27. ... the directors have prepared a downside scenario forecast and sensitivity analysis, which indicates that, even in a severe downside scenario, existing cash reserves and guaranteed HVMC core funding, together with 70% of CPI's forecasted commercial and CRD revenue, would be sufficient for the Group to meet its liabilities as they fall due for a period of at least 12 months.”
Significant events
- “CPI has conducted a resizing exercise during the year to align staff levels with revenue generating activity, which has resulted in an overall reduction in staff numbers. The total cost of this restructuring activity in 2024/25 was £973,441.”
- “CPI has invested significantly in the implementation of a new IT infrastructure, namely the launch of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for core systems. Non-capital costs in the current year amounted to £1,437,983 and have been classified as exceptional.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
