“ACE Elevator (Southern) Limited is a non-trading holding company and its ability to meet liabilities as they fall due is dependent on the performance of its subsidiary Orona Limited. Therefore, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the 12 months from the date of signing these financial statements. Based on this assessment and taking into account the performance and financial position of Orona Limited, the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the annual financial statements in reference to the fact that, forecasts and projections, taking into account a severe but plausible change in trading performance, show that, ACE Elevator (Southern) Limited should still be able to operate as a going concern and pay its debts as they fall due.”
