“The Parent University has committed to continue supporting any ongoing operating costs and liquidity needs not covered by the agreement for a period of at least 12 months from the date the financial statements are authorised for issue. The Parent University is committed to the strategic objectives of the University and is financially capable as evident by its strong credit rating. As the University has continuing full financial support from Parent University as proven by the letter of support signed annually, the directors therefore consider that it is appropriate to prepare the financial statements of the University on the going concern basis and have a reasonable expectation that the University has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.”
