“The directors have considered the Company's profits in the year, the net assets, future performance projected and the Company's ongoing cash requirements, amounts owed by group undertakings, amounts due to Group undertakings and the letter of support received from Mastercard International Incorporated, the intermediate parent company. As a result of the review and the support from Mastercard International Incorporated, the intermediate parent company, the directors are confident the Company has sufficient resources to continue as a going concern for at least 12 months from the date of signing these financial statements and on this basis, they consider that it is appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis.”
Significant events
- “A merchant class action was served on Mastercard in August 2022 seeking over £500 million in damages in relation to commercial card and inter-regional transactions. In May 2023, the class representative narrowed the certification application to cover commercial cards only and increased the claimed damages later that year to in excess of £1 billion. In June 2024 the court certified the claim to move forward to trial.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
