“The company has financial resources at its disposal with adequate cash reserves; as a consequence, the directors believe that the company is well placed to manage its business risks successfully. After making appropriate enquiries, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence beyond twelve (12) months from the approval date of the financial statements. Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. The acquisition of Juniper Inc. by HPE as outlined in the Merger Agreement above is not expected to have any impact on the company's ability to continue as a going concern and it is our view that the company will continue to operate at a going concern in the next twelve (12) months from the date of approval of the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024.”

• “On January 9, 2024, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company ("HPE") and Juniper Networks, Inc. ("Juniper Networks" or "the Ultimate holding company") entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger under which HPE agreed to acquire Juniper Networks in an all-cash transaction for $40.00 per share, representing an equity value of approximately $14 billion. The transaction was completed on July 2, 2025. This is not expected to have any material short term financial impact on the entity.”

In response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the U.S. and certain allies have imposed sanctions against the Russian government and other entities, which led to suspension of Juniper Inc's operations in Russia. The management has evaluated the impact of Russia's invasion of Ukraine on the fair value of the investments as of the reporting date. Based on this evaluation the company has determined that the fair value of the investment is Nil or significantly lower than its carrying amount. As a result, an impairment loss of GBP 691 has been recognized in the profit and loss account for the year ended 31 December 2024, to reflect the full write-down of the investment. Furthermore, LLC Juniper Networking Solutions was formally liquidated on 8 April 2025, and all remaining balances, including any dividend receivable, have been written off or waived as appropriate by resolution dated 14 February 2025.”
