“At the time of approval of the annual report, the school has seen a reduction in pupil numbers as a direct result of the introduction of VAT on school fees from January 2025. The financial impact of this has been further compounded by the increase in costs from withdrawal of Business Rates Relief and the increase in Employers National Insurance from April 2025. The Governors have reviewed the position carefully with a view to ensuring the ongoing provision of premium schooling for the pupils as well as employment of staff necessary to deliver that premium schooling. The charity currently holds positive cash balances and there are no material uncertainties. Conservative cash flow modelling with sensitivity analyses indicate that the cash reserves of the charity are adequate to meet the charity's obligations as they fall due. Accordingly, the Governors believe the school's financial resources are sufficient to ensure the school will continue as a going concern for the foreseeable future, being at least 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements and therefore continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”

• “The school educated 237 pupils, achieved 86% A*/A grades in Common Entrance and Scholarship exams. Eleven Academic, Co-curricular and All Rounder scholarships were obtained. U11As were named team of the season in Football, and U11A Netball team won the Brighton College Pelican Netball Cup and IAPS Plate Final. Creative and Performing Arts had another excellent year, participating in Brighton Festival and various productions. The New Church Road playground was upgraded in Summer 2023.”
