- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed; we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue. The directors have at the time of approving the financial statements, a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.”

Significant events
- “Extremely difficult trading conditions continued throughout 2024 resulting in a decrease in sales compared to 2023 of 18%. Demand reduced further despite a slight easing of inflation as a result of continued cost of living pressures on consumers due to elevated household costs.”
- “Low footfall through our traditional independent retail customers and for our e-Commerce customers has continued and declined over the past year. Housing market stagnated due to affordability issues alongside continued high interest rates.”
- “An improvement in the ocean freight market and the stabilising of Sterling against the US Dollar has provided some relief on cost pressures. However, instability in the Red Sea will still likely cause further volatility.”
- “Although trading conditions are expected to remain challenging in 2025 due to continued low consumer confidence, a strategic decision has been taken to streamline our ditribution model.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
