Audit & accounting basis
- Accounting basis

- Standalone (parent only)
- Auditor
- Larking Gowen LLP
- Audit opinion
- Unqualified (clean)
- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the Company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “The diversity of our principal activities has allowed the Company to continue to trade profitably and turnover has increased by £6 million to £184 million (2024 - £178 million).”
- “At the start of 2024, global economic slowdowns impacted many factories that had been delivering multiple and historic orders, this resulted in an excess of machinery stock.”
- “Faced with increased stock and an economic slowdown, we prudently halted capital expenditure until conditions improved. However, we strategically invested in a site to replace our rented Old Leake premises and purchased a purpose-built location in Wrangle.”
- “Our social and environmental played a key role in us proudly being awarded the Kings Royal Warrant in 2024.”
- “At the end of the year the Company is in a strong financial position with net assets of £12 million. This includes stock of £46 million with net current assets at £2.6 million.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
