“The group made a profit for the year of £7.6m (2023: £10.3m) and at the year end had net current assets of £37.5m (2023: £38.8m), including £16.5m (2023: £14.4m) in cash. Post year end management accounts show continued profitability, as do management forecasts. On this basis the directors have not identified any uncertainty regarding going concern and they therefore continue to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.”

However, the implementation of these regulations across Europe remains under review by the ECJ. In the meantime, an injunction in Germany has delayed the implementation of the fee cap until a final ruling is made. These regulations have the potential to impact the current international business model both financially and operationally.”
