- Going concern
- Affirmed
“After reviewing the Company's forecasts and projections and the consideration of the availability of the cash pooling as disclosed in note 13, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The Company therefore continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing its financial statements.”
Significant events
- “2024 saw a significant reduction in revenues as many customers corrected large inventories that had been built up over 2022 and 2023. The relocation of the manufacturing site for one large customer had a particularly significant impact in continuity of demand.”
- “A number of efficiency initiatives were completed during the year to manage cost, however a projected recovery in demand began to manifest itself towards the very end of the year.”
- “Continued investment in Capital Expenditure in order to modernise and automate production processes where possible. Not only does this improve output and reduce waste it also reduces health and safety risks to employees by employing more modern, hands-off techniques.”
- “Continued community engagement work via sponsorship of a sports organisation for children and adults with disabilities.”
- “We launched a new product line into the US Heathcare Furniture market and further expanded our presence with customers in the APAC region.”
- “A project focusing on Al-driven data processing for patient care was successfully completed, which resulted in a new phase of development into 'smart' fabrics.”
- “The development and rebranding of sustainable products using recycled fabrics and recovering skin waste in our Polyurethane formula will also give us the market edge as first to market in our main sectors in support surfaces and furniture.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
