• “Turnover has increased by 21.9% on the previous year, and the gross margin has also increased to 26.7% in the year...The increase in turnover was expected by the company due to the commencement of a number of relatively large contracts. The company also carried out and completed an exceptionally high value additional works instruction during the year on an existing contract. Some larger contracts also ended during the year, some of which required relatively small amounts of replacement planting to be carried out against initial expectations. This contributed to the increase in gross margin and a reduction in the amount accrued for a guarantee provision (see notes 14 & 15).”
