“The directors believe that the company will be able to operate within the level of its current facilities and the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Despite having net current liabilities at the year end, the financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis on the grounds that the directors of EssilorLuxottica have confirmed their continued support for at least 12 months following the date of approval of the financial statements. Such support would be made available through the on-going provision of the rolling group overdraft facility.”
