Affirmed

“On October 30, 2024 it was announced that school fees would be taxable at the standard VAT rate of 20% from 1 January 2025. The directors sought the widest possible advice and the school was as prepared as it could be, despite the very short timeframe given. The implementation was undertaken, but the directors nevertheless accept that inevitably there may be errors in interpretation or treatment of transactions and will continue to actively monitor the position. They continue to bear down on costs in the face of financial headwinds and to identify new ways to generate additional income. ... The directors are not aware, however, of any circumstances that may adversely affect the renewal of these facilities. Accordingly, the directors believe it is appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis.”

Year-on-year

FY2023 → FY2024 · period ending 2024-08-31 vs 2023-08-31

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
