“The Ol! Bagel Trading Limited latest forecast for 2024 and the approved budget for 2024 by the shareholders in December 2023, indicated that the company business activities have improved significantly, and it indicates that the level of activities is expected to continue to reach positive levels. Furthermore, a business plan for year 2025-2026 has also been approved by the shareholders which outline a further increase in the activities at Excel Centre units and at the Praed Street store. Therefore, although there is some uncertainty about the current economic situation with the impact of high inflation and with the cost-of-living crisis likely to impact the consumers behaviour in year to come in 2024, the directors are constantly reviewing the forecast for the profit and loss account and for the cash flows of the company and are expected to maintain positive level of cash flow. The latest forecast of 2024 and the plan of 2025 show that the company has sufficient resources to continue as going concern for a period of the next 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements. At the period end the company had net current assets of £346,950 (2022: restated £8,584). The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis. The company is reliant on its ultimate parent company Cremonini S.p.A. for financial support. The directors of Cremonini S.p.A. have confirmed that it is their intention to make resources available as necessary for the company to remain a going concern for at least 12 months from the date of signing the balance sheet.”
Significant events
- “During the financial year ended 31 December 2023, the business performance has been very positive with significant increases in sales and profits thanks to favourable trading at the ExCel Exhibition Centre with many large events taking place in the venue such as Ministry of Defence fair, Comicons, Grand Design and Horse show. The second unit, ExCel II, also benefitted from steady trading with the Disney 100 Exhibition and Paddington Praed Street also improved trading with the expansion of the delivery sales and catering business for offices around the London West End.”
- “The company has invested further development in the e-commerce site and has launched a new loyalty scheme, the Bagel Factory App to increase and retain the customer base and enhance service and product offer. The app features a new rewards program and click and collect experience. The app is paired with a CRM Platform, Airship, which communicates with customers about loyalty perks, promotions, and company updates.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
