• “On the 28th December 2023, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) opened an investigation into whether the Group's completed acquisition of Sporting Index Limited had led to a substantial lessening of competition (SLC) in the relevant market. On 19th September 2025, the CMA found an SLC had occurred and concluded that Spreadex Limited would be required to divest Sporting Index Limited. Spreadex have recourse to appeal to the Competition Appeal Tribunal ('CAT') and are highly likely to do so. Both the outcome, and the timing of the conclusion of any appeal remain uncertain, whilst any divestiture process would not be expected to conclude for at least 18 months from the conclusion of the appeal.”
