“The directors have prepared forecasts for 12 months from the date of signature of these financial statements, which show that the company is expected to continue to generate positive cash flows on its own account for the foreseeable future. In preparing on this basis, the directors have considered the impact of changes to macro economic variables, which has resulted in positive and negative impacts on different product categories, but no significant adverse impact on a portfolio basis, both during the year ended 31 March 2025 and up to the date of approval of these financial statements, and concluded that material uncertainty related to this has been mitigated. In regards to the balances of cash on hand, the Directors recognise that Takeda Group operate a group cash pooling facility, whereby all cash in local bank accounts is swept to a central cash pool and such funds deposited to the Company's In-House-Bank account, which is presented within amounts receivable from group undertakings, and amounts to £50.8 million at the year end (2024: due to group undertakings £0.9 million). Consequently, the directors are confident that the company will have sufficient funds to continue to meet its liabilities as they fall due for at least 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements and therefore have prepared the financial statements on a going concern basis.”
