• “Like all organisations incorporating an independent school, Oxfordshire Community Churches has faced uncertainty due to the General Election and the new Government's policy of imposing VAT on independent school fees from 1 January 2025. The other policy changes announced in the Autumn Budget relating to removing business rate relief for independent schools, as well as increasing Employer's National Insurance Contributions and reducing the threshold for contributions, and the National Living Wage increase from April 2025 will also have a significant impact on the operational costs of the charity.”
