- Affirmed
“The Directors are satisfied that the Company has adequate resources to continue in business for the foreseeable future. In assessing whether the going concern basis is appropriate, the Directors have considered the information contained in the financial statements, the Company's latest management information and the Company's current solvency calculations. In addition, given the capital strength and available liquidity within the Group, the Directors are confident that this would be sufficient to support the operations of the Company in future. Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the annual report and financial statements for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements to 31st July 2026.”
Significant events
- “Incurred losses on events such as the Baltimore Bridge loss (net £52.2m), Hurricane Milton (net £28.8m), Brazil Floods (net £19.8m) and UAE Floods (net £18.6m).”
- “Foreign exchange loss of £27.0m (2023: £12.9m profit) was driven by the translation of non-functional currencies to the functional currency of US dollar.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
