- Going concern
- Affirmed
“Following enquiries, review and approval of the Company's revenue, profitability and cash-flow forecasts, the Directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company will generate positive cash flows and have sufficient resources to continue operating for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements and for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, the Directors continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the Annual Report and financial statements.”
Significant events
- “In 2024, Pilgrim had a stable year marked by sustained positive demand for its products and services. As the global push towards electrification continues, the demand for Pilgrim's bolting solutions remained strong. This trend, along with a clear shift towards clean energy generation, significantly boosted the company's sales of tensioning technology within the nuclear sector.”
- “In June 2023, the UK High Court issued a ruling in the case of Virgin Media Limited v NTL Pension Trustees II Limited and others relating to the validity of certain historical pension changes. This case may have implications for other defined benefit schemes in the UK, although is subject to possible appeal. The Company are aware of this legal ruling and at this stage cannot estimate the potential impact.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
