“The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis, notwithstanding net liabilities of £22,154,000 (2023: £15,833,000) and net current liabilities of £34,824,000 (2023: £31,158,000) at the balance sheet date. Drimbawn (UK) Limited is dependent on its parent undertaking, Monaghan Mushrooms Limited, for financial and other support. The directors have prepared the financial statements of the company on the going concern basis on the assumption that the parent company will be in a position to continue its support for the foreseeable future. The parent company has indicated its willingness to provide this financial support for at least one year from the date of approval of these financial statements.”
