- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the director's use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the original financial statements were authorised for issue.”

Significant events
- “Turnover increased to £3,916,274 (2024 - £3,503,600) producing an operating profit of £292,474 (2024 - £333,172). Although the operating profits are lower than the prior year, the directors are satisfied with this performance, which occurred mainly for the following reasons:-”
- “The investment funds recommended by the company to their clients performed well and significant new clients were achieved increasing funds under advice.”
- “The overall staff costs have increased by 15% due to external pressures which have been the main driver for the lower profits in 2025.”
- “At the year end, the sponsored Master Trust (The Lewis Workplace Pension Trust) had more than £102 million (2023 - £85m) in the Trust on behalf of 182 employers. The 21.1% growth over the year, through monthly contributions and new schemes, has met the expectations.”
- “The values at 31 March 2025 were adversely affected in particular by the threat of the US tariffs and the geopolitical situation. At the year end, the markets were trading at their lowest level, hence the downward valuation compared to 31 March 24, in spite of strong new client investment during the year.”
- “A change in government has led to higher costs and taxation, which continues to test margins, however the directors continue to strive to maintain profitability.”
- “2025-26 is likely to see further progress in terms of income and profitability. The company is making strides in all areas and the board remain optimistic, with continued investment in related companies. The new fiscal rules are creating opportunities for the company in terms of advice needed by people to maximise their portfolios.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
