“As at July 2025, UCAS Media has a cash balance of £0.7m (2024: £0.2m). While there was a net current liabilities position of £1.5m (2024: £1.8m), it should be noted that £3.3m is owed to the parent company but that this doesn't damage the interest of other creditors. The company's commercial income is seasonal as the sales activity largely follows the cyclical nature of the annual undergraduate higher education application cycle, in particular the period over confirmation and clearing where activity straddles the financial year end. This seasonality impacts cash flow timing for the company which in turn contributes to the net current liabilities position at year end. As such, the Directors consider there are no material uncertainties that would cast significant doubt around the company's ability to operate as a going concern and therefore the accounts have been prepared on this basis.”
