Audit & accounting basis
- Accounting basis
- FRS 102
- Reporting scope
- Standalone (parent only)
- Auditor
- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
- Audit opinion
- Unqualified (clean)
- Going concern
- Affirmed
“Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue. In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate.”
Significant events
- “On 8 January 2024, the Rybrook Group Limited group to which the Company belonged was subject to a reorganisation and demerger.”
- “As part of this reorganisation, the net assets of the group's Automobili Pininfarina, Bentley, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren, Rolls-Royce and specialist used car dealerships in Birmingham, Bristol, High Wycombe and Stoke, were transferred into the Company. The aggregate consideration for these intra group transfers, which represents the net book value of these assets amounting to £9.2m, was treated as an inter-company loan. Subsequent to this transaction, the counter party decided to waive this inter-company loan and accordingly the same has been considered as income in the profit and loss account during the year.”
- “The subsequent demerger, on the same date, involved the transfer of certain subsidiaries (including the Company) to a newly incorporated company, Ryland Automotive Limited, owned by the same shareholders and the rest of the group was sold to Sytner Group Limited.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
