“The Directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the annual financial statements. At 31 December 2024 the Company had net assets of £2.6million and net current assets of £30 thousand. ... The Directors therefore continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the Annual report and financial statements.”

- “During the prior year, directors and senior management assisted Urbaser Limited, a joint owner of the Company, with regard to the potential sale of its business in the United Kingdom. On 12th December 2023 a Sale and Purchase Agreement was entered into between FCC Environment (UK) Ltd, a UK Subsidiary of FCC Servicios Medio Ambiente S.A, and the owners of Urbaser Limited, this agreement was subject to clearance by the Competitions and Markets Authority and certain other conditions. The sale process was successfully completed on 10th June 2024 and as a result the entire shareholding of the Company became owned either directly or indirectly within the FCC Group as of that date.”
