“Having taken the above factors into account, the directors are of the opinion that, as at the date of these accounts, the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future and to meet its financial liabilities and obligations as they fall due for a period of at least 12 months from the date of these financial statements. For this reason, they have continued to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”

- “Spreadex's acquisition of Sporting Index Limited remains subject to a review from the Competition and Markets Authority, the outcome of which is expected to be known in September 2025.”
- “On the 28 December 2023, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) opened an investigation into whether Spreadex's completed acquisition of Sporting Index Limited had led to a substantial lessening of competition (SLC) in the relevant market. On 17 April 2024 the case was referred to Phase 2 of the CMA's investigation procedures with a statutory deadline of 26 November 2024. On 5 March 2025 the Competition Appeal Tribunal referred the case back to the CMA for remittal to reconsider. On 5 June 2025 the CMA provisionally found an SLC as part of its remittal investigation. The final remittal report is expected in September 2025. At the date of these financial statements, the investigation is still ongoing and the outcome is uncertain. Consequently no adjustments have been recognised in these financial statements.”
