- Going concern
- Affirmed
“At 31 December 2024 the Company had net assets of £9,570,000 (2023: £8,541,000). The Directors have prepared cash flow forecasts for the period to 31 December 2026 and are satisfied that the Company will be able to meet its liabilities as they fall due. Therefore, after taking into account the above factors, the Directors believe that the Company can manage its business risks successfully and are satisfied that it has sufficient financial resources to enable them to continue operating in the foreseeable future. The Directors therefore continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
Significant events
- “2024 has seen a 3% decrease in turnover. This is as the result of price increases driven by cost inflation leading to a reduction on demend.”
- “The impact of lower volume driven by the increase in milk costs and wages led to reduced cost absorption and a lower profit before tax from £1,731,000 in the previous year to a profit before tax of £1,410,000 this year.”
- “Labour efficiency decreased by 17% to 6.41 second per kg (2023: 5.48 second per kg).”
- “There were a number of research and development projects across the year that have resulted in either new product launches or minor process improvements.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
