“The directors have prepared cash flow forecasts for a period of 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements which indicate that, taking account of reasonably possible downsides, the company will have sufficient funds, through funding from its ultimate parent company, Sulzer AG, to meet its liabilities as they fall due for that period. The directors' forecasts are dependent on Sulzer AG funding the company's bank overdraft within the Sulzer AG group cash pool; and providing additional financial support which has been confirmed by way of a letter of support obtained by Sulzer Pumps Wastewater UK Limited. Sulzer AG has committed to continue to make available such funds as are needed by the company which will continue for a period of 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements. Consequently, the directors are confident that the company will have sufficient funds to continue to meet its liabilities as they fall due for at least 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements and therefore have prepared the financial statements on a going concern basis.”
Significant events
- “In 2024, Sulzer UK delivered continued growth with a robust performance in order intake, recording a 12% year-on-year increase, equivalent to £2.4 million. This growth was largely driven by a 53% surge in the utility sector (equating to £5.3 million), supported by multiple project wins and the expansion of core operations through strategic framework agreements.”
- “In 2024, Sulzer UK made substantial progress in optimising its UK operational footprint. Through enhanced collaboration and strategic restructuring, we achieved greater operational efficiency. These initiatives are expected to deliver annual cost savings while supporting long-term scalability and improved service integration.”
- “In December 2024, Ofwat approved a landmark £104 billion investment programme for the 2025-2030 period (AMP8), nearly doubling the previous cycle's expenditure.”
- “In May 2022 Sulzer group announced its withdrawal from the Russian market. This decision had no negative consequence for Sulzer Pumps Wastewater UK Ltd.”
- “On 27 September 2024, the 5 million Redeemable Ordinary Shares of £1 each were cancelled via special resolution resulting in a £5million credit to retained earnings.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
